Parenting is hard- understatement. The immense love and best intentions we have for our children does not diminish the intensity of the parenting struggles and if anything can make them feel harder. Supporting parents (using parents to describe anyone who cares for children) is one of the areas I’m most passionate about in the work I do. I work alongside parents with curiosity and respect for your child’s experience and together we learn what a child needs in order to feel supported, understood, and cared for. With respectful parenting techniques guiding the way, I will help you utilize research-based strategies that can address a variety of needs in the home. You will get no judgement from me on how you’re doing it- we’re all doing the best we can and together we’ll fill in additional strategies and support where needed. We’ll explore and flesh out your parenting style and consider what parts of parenting are harder than others for you and why. We’ll unpack shame and blame and learn to have grace for all our parenting moments. We’ll walk this parenting journey together. Parenting is hard, but I’m here for you.

The Maya Angelou quote above best describes my parenting philosophy. We are not always going to get it right. We are going to muddle through moments with our kids, but if we keep showing up, if we create a respectful, intentional, loving environment, that’s what sticks.

Sessions are $120 for 55 minutes.

A superbill can be provided for those who seek reimbursement for out-of-network care.
